75th Anniversary April 2022

Founded in 1947 and one of the most successful Tug of War Clubs in the UK.

We have won many honours on the world stage and held the 640kg National Championships Title for 12 consecutive years.

Although not an olympic sport, Felton Eccles has represented Great Britain in 4 World Games and have represented Felton and England on nearly every continent.

A sports event in which two teams test their strength by pulling against each other on opposite ends of a rope.

The team consists of 8 men/ladies/youth competeing in many different weight categories, for example 640kg, 560kg,720kg, etc.

There is also a mixed team category consisting of 4 men and 4 ladies.
